Working at WITTENSTEIN

A passion for innovation and unconditional excellence are just two of the hallmarks which make working at WITTENSTEIN so attractive. Our desire to come up with solutions that were previously impossible gives rise to fascinating challenges and long-term prospects for personal development. We frequently question given realities and tread new paths in our working environment. Amongst other things, this is reflected in our extremely flexible working hours, an impressive package of health promoting measures and our inspirational interior architecture. We believe in a corporate culture which is based on the values of a family firm and built around trust, openness and responsibility. If you would like to help drive the future with us, WITTENSTEIN can offer you a world of opportunities.

1. We are a family company

At WITTENSTEIN, you can expect the open atmosphere of a medium-sized, family-run company and fair working conditions. Daily interactions are characterized by cooperativeness, a strong sense of community and mutual respect. We take responsibility for our employees, future and the environment. Our trainees and students start assisting in this during their orientation week and actively participate in local community service projects once a year. We are also engaged in social responsibility in a variety of ways – Read more here.

2. Challenging and exciting tasks

We make demands and provide support. At WITTENSTEIN, we expect you to be highly motivated and take on responsibility. For this, you can grow into challenging tasks, develop yourself and become a distinguished expert in your field – whether you are in administration, development or production.

3. Flexible working times and attention to work/life balance

WITTENSTEIN enables harmony between professional and private life. We have flexible working hours without core hours. In assembly, we work in a two-shift system instead of a three-shift system, in the interests of your long-term health and to offer you the opportunity to balance your professional and private life.

4. Continuing education opportunities and personalized development

The WITTENSTEIN academy offers over 1000 different seminars and events every year, from A for "Arbeitsrecht" (labor law) to Z for "Zeichnungslesen" (reading drawings). For the convenience of our employees, students and trainees, many of these are held at our own premises.

You want to advance your qualifications while pursuing ambitious career goals? We can support you with targeted development programs: for the traditional specialist and executive career paths, as well as for interesting specialized alternatives. For instance, we offer modular programs for young professionals in sales as well as internal instructors, CIP experts or secretaries and assistants. Here, we place a great deal of value on excellent instructors, effective methods and practical approaches. For career-advancing qualifications as a technician, business management graduate, master & Co., we will support you with advice as well as financial aid for your ambitious projects.

5. Personalized orientation program

We provide extensive support in your initial steps with us: As a new employee, you will go through a personalized orientation program. In the first weeks, you will have a mentor in a position of trust to immediately answer any professional or personal questions. We can thus quickly provide you with all of the knowledge you need for a successful start at WITTENSTEIN.

6. Technology inspires us

We strive for precision, innovation and unbridled excellence. As a PIONEER in mechatronic drive technology, our goal is to inspire customers with our ideas. How do we achieve this?

"The top priority at WITTENSTEIN is quality. In order to meet this standard consistently, we must give our best, every day.“
