Modern and rational manufacturing methods as well as extensive quality management form the basis for technically sophisticated, economical and high-quality machines.

Its task is to package free-flowing products such as cookies, tablets or screws. For this purpose, packaging foil on a roll is welded to form a tube. The lower part of the tube is then welded to produce a bag. Goods are poured into the open end, which is then welded closed. The whole process takes place at high speed: The sealing jaws on the jaw closer open and close around two hundred and fifty times per minute.

Four bags can be completely filled and packaged every second. Conventional motor/gearbox units are too big, too heavy and, for the most part, not dynamic enough to achieve such cycle times. This is why the engineers at HASTAMAT opted for our TPM⁺, which is connected directly to the jaw closer.  With its high dynamics and low weight, our drives make cycle times of up to 200 cycles a minute possible. In addition, the low weight allows for a reduction in drive power in the jaw stroke.
